It's been a while since the last blog post but only because we've been hard at work with building the new and improved
SoutheastOutfitters.com. Today, we're very proud to announce that work is (largely) done and that the new site is open for business.
It was pretty disheartening when we were notified that the provider we used for the previous website was discontinuing the platform we built it on. We had worked long and hard to build our first site, and we were proud of it. We were not particularly excited to have to make a pretty big change while our "brand" was still being established. What appeared to be a curse, however, has proven to be a wonderful blessing.
We think that the new site has a much better look and feel compared to what we had in the past. We learned a lot with the first site, and the new
SoutheastOutfitters.com is the product of that learning. We aimed for a more intuitive design with a more polished appearance, and I think we've hit the mark. Even more beneficial, the new site is much more accessible to us for administration, so we will be able to bring new features and developments to the site in the future. To that end, while it's still pretty new, we'll be continuing to make updates, changes, and tweaks, to bring our Customers an ever-improving experience of shopping with us online.
